A journalist and educator, Kathleen is group editor for Think, named content marketing agency of the year at the PPA Awards 2024. She edits award-winning membership magazines the RPS Journal for the Royal Photographic Society and Botanics for the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, as well as digital content.

Her industry roles have included group weekend features editor at the Herald and Times, and editor of The Herald Magazine, The Sunday Herald Magazine and The List. Kathleen has lectured in journalism at Edinburgh Napier University and Glasgow Clyde College.

More recently, she has taught on the NCTJ Diploma in Journalism, an industry-standard course for graduates. She has enjoyed being a selector for the Scottish Press Awards and Royal Television Society Scotland Awards. She is still learning.
